As a certified Dance2Fit instructor, and certified Turn Up instructor, this class will give you the best of both worlds. We combine hip hop based dance moves with fitness elements. We call this the #CoreFour - Work, Shake, Flex, Slay. This class strategically creates a high intensity interval experience (HIIT). In this class you will burn fat, build muscle, boost metabolism, and not only burn calories during class, but continue to scorch them for hours after class. Different than any other dance fitness workout around, we combine dance with high intensity fitness moves such as, jumping jacks, burpees, pushups, etc. All of which can be modified. On average, ladies burn between 400-1100 calories per class. No dancing experience necessary. We have an absolutely no judging rule, and we turn the lights down low and the party lights up to create a club like vibe. Give it a try. You won't regret it.
Certified in Xtreme Hip Hop Step, we can't wait for you to come join us for the hottest step class in town. Remember the aerobics classes from the 80's? Yeah, this is so much better! We step it out to today's hit music and popular hip hop beats. We break down the basics before each class. For this class you will need an aerobic step and a mat!
Got that underneath arm flab that's holding you back from tank tops? Trying to build of give that booty some definition? Because same! This class is the best of both worlds. We spend 30 minutes dancing and the other 30 minutes with low impact high intensity toning. For this class we use bands and weights.
Ohhh HIIT!!! It just got real. Come join us Saturday mornings for a quick bootcamp before our dance party. This is a full body workout. It is a high intensity workout that can be modified to your own style. Interval training is huge during this class. The items we use in this class are a mat, weights, bands, and tubes. We have extras, so feel free to give it a try before purchasing your own!
Inspired by "The Studio", The Hot Seat is a chair dance fitness class created to help us learn to let go of inhibitions and feel good about our fierce, feminine side without shame or embarrassment. This class includes a ton of toning, but also super fun, flirty, and tasteful choreography. Grab a chair, cause baby you earned it. Mood lighting will be set so we can all let down our hair and feel comfortable. Your alter ego is dying to escape. Set her free. This low impact, intense toning class can be done with the help of a booty band, weights, a chair, and a whole lot of Heck Yes. Be sure to either wear shorts with long socks, or leggings. Please bring water and a mat if you have one! Participants for this class must be 18+
Beatz is our newest class. It is our own dance barn version of Cardio Drumming. This is a full body workout to hit music from past and present. It's an absolute blast. For this class you will need drumsticks, a yoga ball, and a 17 gallon utility bucket. I will have a few extras at the barn!
